South Columbus High School is a four year public high school, established in 1992 by the consolidation of Nakina, Tabor City, and Williams Township High Schools which were accredited by North Carolina State Department of Education and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.  We are located four miles east of Tabor City, North Carolina on Highway 701.

South Columbus High School is dedicated to total school improvement.  Our vision focuses on improved academic performance, increased student involvement, and commitment to educational success.  Implementation of vigorous academic standards, along with increased dedication to the development of the total child through emphasis on the student's mental, social, and psychological needs, will produce graduates ready to embrace the 21st century with the skills needed for success.
